Nero Marquina is a premium interior workspace located in Southwark’s mixed-use district in central London. Designed for a leading property development consultancy, the concept balances high-performance functionality with a refined, rich interior aesthetic, creating an environment that anchors the client’s position within the high-end property sector.
Studio Lord’s design embraces the collaborative ethos of the client’s business, introducing open-plan desk arrangements that encourage face-to-face interaction and spark team creativity.
These are complemented by private phone booths for focused work, a dedicated library for client meetings, and superior staff amenities - including an open-plan kitchen and tea point - to deliver an environment of refined sophistication.
Faithful to the client’s brand identity, the interior is elevated through a sophisticated palette of deep greys and rich greens, finished by luxurious materials.
Striking Nero Marquina marble, with flashes of brilliant white, forms the focal point of the kitchen, while bespoke walnut joinery seamlessly integrates the office space through bookcases, end-of-desk cabinets, lockers, and fluted timber detailing. Lighting by Idea Works completes the scheme, bringing cohesion and elegance to the overall design.
