Conceived as a destination sanctuary, the design by Studio Lord offers a place of calm and respite from the region’s intense heat - a retreat where architecture and nature harmonise to create serenity.
This luxurious estate is centred around a generous courtyard that establishes a serene atmosphere, enriched by rejuvenating water features and lush greenery. These elements soften the building’s form and structural lines, creating a harmonious interplay between architecture and landscape.
With geometric precision, the design features expansive horizontal planes and protective overhangs, while vertical fins tie the composition together with elegance.
Finely detailed screening is integrated throughout the design to provide privacy and shade, enhancing the usability of each space. A palette of soft, warm stone and natural textures reinforces the villa’s connection to its desert surroundings, continuing the dialogue between architecture and environment.
The villa’s entrance offers a sense of understated grandeur, welcoming residents and guests with open space and lush planting that evoke the signature oasis aesthetic. At the rear, the home unfolds into a dramatic double-height living space, where full-height glazing frames views of the infinity-edge pool and the expansive desert landscape which completes the vision of a cultivated sanctuary.
